Whole Kosher Services is the certifier of certain flavors of syrup used by Kona Ice.
They announced that inside Kona Ice trucks, “The [kosher] certificate generally applies only to sealed bottles of Kona Ice syrup. It does not certify the truck itself. Please be aware: Not all flavors are kosher. Not all flavors are pareve. Kona Ice truck operators are not required to use Kona Ice syrup… Kona Ice trucks should not be considered acceptable unless the actual truck is under reliable hashgacha.”
There are no kosher certified Kona Ice trucks in Georgia.
